stamping with Unity & Donna Downey....

well...
not really WITH her...but WITH her STAMPS! :)

HAPPY Friends with FLAIR Friday!

Did you know?
Unity Stamp Company & Donna Downey have teamed up to offer some really FABULOUS stamps! Unity Stamp manufactures these perfectly made red rubber stamps and Donna Downey is the artist extraordinaire.
They are BIG, inspiring, and PERFECT for scrapping, card making, altered art, and MORE.

Last night I used mine to create a customized journal. I LOVE journals {actually I have way too many of them}. I start writing in one, then decide to grab another one to write something else, and then all of a sudden I am carrying FIVE different ones around with me.
Who does that?

I decided to solve my journal obsession and create one myself. It isn't quite finished...but I am excited to show you the beginnings of it. The plan is to have different sections so that it is all organized perfectly...I hope!

The cover:
I created this using a hard piece of cardboard and
modge podging dictionary paper over it.

It had to be
simple & INSPIRING...
So I used my FAVORITE colors
TURQUOISE & YELLOW!

I LOVE this quote...
{really think about it}
it has SO MUCH meaning!

Here's is my first "section" of the journal.
there is always a to do's list, right?

another section...This section is going to include my favorite quotes & more....a BE INSPIRED section!

I just can't seem to step away from those colors, can I?
Well...at least here I have added in some pink polka dots!

The pages are from an old journal that is completely falling apart...so I just created the cover of this journal to fit the size of that paper.

Check out these Unity Stamp kits...

above: The Artist in You

BOTH of these kits are an 8.5 x 11 sheet of red rubber...and trust me...you will use these OVER & OVER again!!
Looks like Scrappy Land has them for a GREAT price right now {and TONS of other Unity}!
BE INSPIRED...
check out the UNITY blog...
LOTS of FABULOUS FRIENDS are posting Unity today!!

Eryn, this is amazing and awesome! And, hey, it's smart to have more than just one journal. It's fun to keep several in different places to always have something to jot down when you need it! Very inspiring and I just watched DD's video today on her blog about her journal...yours looks just as fantastic!
