sweet thoughts of you...

Wow, whatta weekend!!  It was an absolute busy BLAST!
We were in the Twin Cities all weekend watching our Highschool Boy's Basketball team compete for the State Championship...the BEST part...
they WON!
It was SO EXCITING & fun to be apart of {and reminded me of the good ol' days in highschool}!!

Anyway...enough chatting and back to the reason why you are probably stopping by...

Time for some H{ippity} Hopping fun...
This week's {ippity} challenge is brought to you by our super creative DT member Maria!
the CHALLENGE is:
create an Easter OR Spring {ippity} project

{for details on HOW to play and submit your project for a prize visit the ippity blog}

I decided to make some cute little Easter baskets...
they were SUPER easy to create!

I made one in "boy" colors and the other in "girl" colors...not exactly Easter/Spring paper but I like how they turned out.

I used a template that I found in one of my old Paper Craft magazines.
{225 Cards & Gifts, page 51}

Do you have the Sweet thoughts of Spring stamp kit yet?  I have to say my fave from this kit is the cute scallop borders - there are a total of 4 different ones.  I know I will be using them ALL year round!!

Can't wait to fill them up with some yummy treats...AND the best part...I am AHEAD of schedule for Easter {that rarely happens!}!!  :)

Be sure to check out the rest of the H{ippity} Hop and have a FAB week!!

Happy Friends with FLAIR Friday!
{I am posting short & sweet today, we have TONS of exciting projects going on at Unity that I need to get to!!}  YAY!

my layout is of my man & i...{obviously, huh!} :)
and WOW, I really need to get some pictures printed...
I had to use pictures from last summer in this layout!!

You've seen this paper before haven't you...hehe...
I think I've used this new Crate Paper for my last 4 crafty projects!
What can I say...I find it inspiring!
I even busted out some of my FAVORITE Unity Stamps that I haven't used in quite a while!
This LOVE stamp is one of my FAVES!  I stamped it on old dictionary paper, cut out the letters and then stamped them again on kraft paper...adhered the 2 so that it pops out a bit more.

BINGO...Unity Stamp as well!

Aren't these stamps ADORABLE!
check out the Unity website to see the FULL Scrapbooking/Collage kit & paper
plus I used the Game of Chance Bingo & Wholesome Love stamps

Here's a little quote to leave you with today...

Live life fully while you're here.
Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends.
Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up!
You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process.
Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes:
 find the cause of your problem and eliminate it.
Don't try to be perfect;
just be an excellent example of being human.
~ Anthony Robbins

LOVE that...
now go have FUN & be CRAZY...and ORIGINAL!!  :)
