since tonight is "basketball night" for my boyfriend & i {he plays on a league and i love watching so i try to get to as many games as i can}...we decided to celebrate yesterday with dinner & a movie...which fits us both just perfectly...nothing too fancy, just being together with each other! 
it was LOVELY, DELIGHTFUL, and simply PERFECT!!!

it was SUPER FUN and i can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  my inspiration from the photo is the GINGHAM and POLKA DOTS {which is soooooooooooooooo maria, wouldn't you say!} ;)

to create the flower i used one of the flowers from now & always, and then used gurnsey gingham and dots for sure for the inside of the flower.

can you belive 2011 is JUST RIGHT AROUND the corner...
wowza, where did the year GO!?!?

i don't know about you but i am  EXCITED to start a NEW YEAR!  i have a really WONDERFUL feeling that 2011 is going to be AWESOME!  YAY!! 

so...along with the NEW YEAR, we have decided to make some fabulous changes inside unity & {ippity}...and FIRST things first -- this will be the {ippity} design teams LAST HIP HOP with the unity design team!  but NO FRETTING, cause we've got some REALLY FUN things planned on the {ippity} side of things....STAY TUNED for that!  :)

december daily 2010 {days 1-3}

this week's {ippity} challenge is to use your VERY FIRST {ippity} STAMPS!  check out the {ippity} blog on HOW to participate in this week's challenge - it's SUPER SIMPLE and we just LOVE to see what everyone creates!  since i pretty much received all of the FIRST collection at the same time - i decided to just use stamps from those kits for the first few pages of my december daily.  take a peek what i have started...

december 1st.

we had a birthday celebration for my older brother...it was a WONDERFUL day with tons of LAUGHS!

definitely NEVER a dull moment with these kids {i have 2 nephew's and 1 niece}...love them soooo much!

friday was definitely a SNOW DAY!  we had at least 6 inches of snow - it was PRETTY to look at but NOT fun to drive in!  :)
