YAY!!

you have NO IDEA how excited I am to have my very own CUTTLEBUG!!

{i actually got it weeks ago but just purchases some really fun embossing cartridges this weekend}

so of course i had to try it out right away with this adorable borders!!

i purchased the just my type set

{which includes FIVE different borders!}

i wanted to create some cards that are cute BUT also that i can actually send in the mail...without costing extra postage. 
the "just slap on a stamp & send" type of card!

my project this week is inspired by our {ippity} dt member Karen...

she hosted this week's monday hippity hop and

CHALLENGED

everyone to incorporate PAINT

into your {ippity} project this week!!!

how FUN is that!

my card uses...

{ippity} stamps from dots for sure & so this is love

 theres my PAINT.

i painted my star chipboard in a deep rich pink color...

then sanded it & added some tim holtz distress ink for a more distressed look...

then stamped the polka dots on top for a little more dimension & interest!

 i have the next TWO days off from work to spend time

with my niece & nephews...

AND

hopefully will fit in some time for CRAFTIN' as well! 

i am SUPER EXCITED..

so hopefully i'll see ya back here tomorrow with a NEW project...

or maybe even some NEW CHARMS!!

my mom & i have actually decided it was SO MUCH FUN, that we signed up for another one on september 11th!  so i'm busy getting more necklaces made for that...AND have some other EXCITING things in the works that i can't WAIT to tell you about!  YAY!!

i have the MOST SUPPORTIVE friends & family...

i am BLESSED and eternally GRATEFUL for each and every one of them!!
