HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!

I hope you have ENJOYED your Memorial Day weekend and that you have been able to spend LOTS of time with your family!  I have thoroughly been enjoying my weekend with my family!  We always open up our family cabin and I get to spend time with FAMILY that I don't typically get to see as often as I would like. PLUS my nephew's and niece just LOVE the lake so we have now played croquet, kayaked, walked & talked, looked for fish, laughed & laughed, eaten great food, and simply just enjoyed each other's company!

SO much FUN!  :)

they collect hand made cards that the soldier's can then use to send home to their loved ones!

I am going to get right on to my project since I have quite a few photos to share today...

I created a MINI ALBUM using MOSTLY just the NEWEST releases.

I used a PRE-MADE mini album BUT I can't remember

who it if from...I will try to figure that out and add it in here!

I only have the first FIVE things I love about my boyfriend complete...

{I really do have 10 to share though :)  ...just didn't have the time to complete it yet!}

I will be working on the rest VERY SOON!

This first page actually uses the a stamp from our Winter 2010 release...

but it was PERFECT for the cover so I had to use it!

1. your family

You'll notice that I used that

Bit of Burlap background A.LOT!

That stamp is a DEFINITE MUST!!!

and I ADORE that family stamp, it's just PERFECT!

2. you are so sweet to me

I used the journal box & those cute little birds on this page...

oh and I also stamped the "family" image again and just used the journaling lines for these words off to the right.

Ohhh that HAPPY stamp is super fun as well...

and I LOVED stamping on my actual photos.

I even snuck in the Burlap again on the sides!

3. you make me happy. happy. happy.

This page was super fun...I haven't actually written a journaling piece in a circle so it was something new for me.  and that HAPPY stamp worked perfect for it!  I had originally used a button on the left hand side but then realized I wouldn't be able to close the book!  Which actually worked out for the BETTER because I love that I was able to use another one of the flower stamps from Now & Always.

oh AND those little rectangles in the scrapbooking kit are AMAZING! They stamp SO CUTE.  I lined the sides of this page with them and then ....yep, added in a Bit of Burlap along with the Fall for you sentiments.

4. you are charming and 5. you are honest

Here are those scrapbooking blocks again, arent' they cute!

I have had SO MUCH FUN playing with these new releases!

Yep...that paper is the newest OCTOBER AFTERNOON paper line....

Did you know...I LOVE THAT PAPER!

{okay, I promise I won't bring that up again!!}

I even found some yellow staples to match perfectly with this card. 

This Frame & Joy stamp are so AWESOME! 

I stamped them both and ohhh'd and ahhh'd out loud

{and yes,that was to myself, in my craft room!}.

Isn't this sentiment the BEST!?!?

ohhhh and check out these little corner brackets I stamped and cut out

{I KNOW this will be ONE of those stamps that I will use 
OVER & OVER...and over again!}
