~ Our Mother's Day Family Tradition ~

My Mom is a Breast Cancer Survior, so every year on Mother's Day we participate in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure.

It is an emotional day!

...But I think it just brings us all that much closer, every year!!

Cause if your thinking anything like the guys at Unity, well then, you're are most likely thinking that I sure got riped off!!! LOL!

...but the truth is that I LOVE projects like this and I've got BIG plans for this cute little set.
Already picked up some cans of black spray paint and plan to check out some fabrics tomorrow to re-do the cushions.

Can't wait to show you the FINAL look when I'm ALL done!

Today is a GREAT day!

The sun is shinning AND plans of crafting are in my near future!

I think this afternoon a nice walk outside in this gorgeous weather is a must...and then off to do a little stamping and creating - just not sure what yet..I'll be sure to share, so stay tuned! :)

I created this layout a couple of days ago but just got it photographed today. As I was creating this layout I realized that the paper that I am working with is definitely my inspiration. If I am not inspired by the paper, my whole project just doesn't seem to ever get to where I want it to go.

So after finding the perfect paper, I was able to create....
