i LOVE journals and i created a new one a few weeks back that i wanted to share today...  

i am a firm believer that everyone has a daily CHOICE on how to create the life they have always dreamed.  that is what this journal is for me....i have used it to write out my dreams & goals, what i am grateful for each day,  and what inspires me...{plus lots of other boring stuff!} :)  i carry it with me where ever i go...

here is my project using that kit - i decided to make a mini journal....

the journal measures approximately 4 x 4" & is from 7 gypsies...

the inside pages were originally chipboard but i decided to cut some of my own paper to fit perfectly so that i can use it as a journal.

the paper is from crate paper - the restoration collection

it goes perfectly with this ippity set.

21 day challenge....day {3}

our monday {ippity} challenge this week is to use NUMBERS or incorporate a clock into your project...  i actually started the 21 day challenge by rhonna ferrer on friday...with her challenge you take ONE habit you want to break OR START and then art journal about it each & every day.  my journal page for sunday is more of a scrappy page...and of course i threw in some {ippity}.  :)  i am really enjoying the process of this challenge...after this first 21 days, i will be starting another one!  if you have a moment, i encourage you to check out her site & give the challenge a try....just 21 days, that's IT!  :)

Last night I used mine to create a customized journal. I LOVE journals {actually I have way too many of them}. I start writing in one, then decide to grab another one to write something else, and then all of a sudden I am carrying FIVE different ones around with me.

Who does that?

I decided to solve my journal obsession and create one myself. It isn't quite finished...but I am excited to show you the beginnings of it. The plan is to have different sections so that it is all organized perfectly...I hope!

The cover:

I created this using a hard piece of cardboard and

modge podging dictionary paper over it.

It had to be

simple & INSPIRING...

So I used my FAVORITE colors

TURQUOISE & YELLOW!

I LOVE this quote...

it has SO MUCH meaning!

Here's is my first "section" of the journal.

there is always a to do's list, right?

another section...This section is going to include my favorite quotes & more....a BE INSPIRED section!

I just can't seem to step away from those colors, can I?

Well...at least here I have added in some pink polka dots!

The pages are from an old journal that is completely falling apart...so I just created the cover of this journal to fit the size of that paper.
